Your first visit
Thirty to forty-five minutes. It costs nothing. Nothing is treated unless you ask for it, and you can stop at any point without giving a reason.

Step one happens here, not in the chair. Two ordinary chairs and a small table.
What happens, in order
- 15 min
You sit down in the waiting area. May will ask what brought you in. Nobody is timing this.
- 25 min
You sit in the chair. Nothing goes in your mouth yet. Dr. Nat asks how long it has been, and does not comment on the answer.
- 32 min
A look, with a mirror. Two minutes. This is the only part that happens without being described first.
- 410 min
If an X-ray would change what we recommend, we say so, say what it costs, and you decide.
A single film is ฿300 and the full mouth is ฿1,200. We say the price before we take it, and you can say no.
- 510 min
He draws it. On paper, with a pen — what the tooth looks like now, why, what the options are, what each costs, and which one he would choose.
- 6—
You decide. Today, next week, or not at all. Nothing is treated on a first visit unless you ask for it.
You can stop at any step. Getting up out of the chair costs nothing, and we will book you again without comment.
The part that matters
He draws it. On paper, with a pen — what the tooth looks like now, why, what the options are, what each costs, and which one he would choose.
You can stop at any step. Getting up out of the chair costs nothing, and we will book you again without comment.

Where you can stop
At any of the six. Some people get as far as the chair and then go home; one patient came four times and went home four times before anything happened on the fifth. That is not a problem to be managed. It is how long it takes some people, and it costs the same as nothing.
You can stop at any step. Getting up out of the chair costs nothing, and we will book you again without comment.
What we are not going to say
We are not going to tell you that you should have come sooner. You already know.
And if it is not for us
Referring you somewhere else is not us failing. It is the job.
We will tell you roughly what it costs there before you go, so you are not finding out in someone else’s waiting room.
